We are excited to announce several new features to the SeeClickFix Android and iOS applications. The following updates were released on February 23, 2022.
Location Validation
Problem
When reporting a request in an area that is not on a particular street or aligned with a specific address (ie. In the middle of a park, etc.), the location was finding the nearest physical address to where you set the map pin. This behavior made it difficult to find a request that was located at the nearest physical address rather than the exact location where the request was reported.
Solution
With location validation, we’ve introduced the option for you to choose whether or not the physical address or the latitude/longitude coordinates most accurately locate your request. Therefore, you can prioritize which location is the most accurate and increase your local government service’s chances of finding and addressing your 311 requests.
Prepared Content
Problem
As more and more government workers use their mobile devices to communicate and complete their work, we’ve been building more government-focused workflows into our Android and iOS applications.
A lot of requests and comments require templated or “prepared” responses to constituents depending on the type of request or comment submitted.
Solution
For government workers signed in to our mobile apps with their membership accounts, we’re offering the option to select and add “Prepared Content” to comments in our mobile apps (just like you currently can in the CRM.)
Simply tap to Comment and select “Prepared” to access a list of the prepared content or canned messages set in your CRM. You can add multiple prepared comments as each subsequently selected message will be added after the first.
