The SeeClickFix integration with Asset Essentials will implement the following operations:
- Sync Request Categories

The integration can optionally sync the list of SeeClickFix request categories with Asset Essentials work categories.

Request categories are grouped into one or more client-defined service areas.

This operation runs nightly but is also available on-demand (via SeeClickFix Citizen Request Manager (CRM) agency settings).

- Send Requests
-
The integration will submit SeeClickFix requests to Asset Essentials as work orders.

Data mapping:

The destination fields include any standard Oracle work order fields, as well as custom fields.

The source fields include any standard SeeClickFix request fields, as well as any user-submitted answers to questions configured by the client.

- Check Request Status

The integration will fetch the work order from Asset Essentials, in order to take the following actions:

The integration will close the SeeClickFix request with a client-defined message, when the Asset Essentials work order status is Solved (or any terminal status type).

The integration will comment on the SeeClickFix request with a client-defined message when the Asset Essentials work order status is Updated (or any non-terminal status type).

This operation runs hourly but is also available on-demand (via SeeClickFix CRM request page).

- Send Request Comment

Public comments added to a SeeClickFix request will be sent to the Oracle Service Cloud work order as threads.

We recommend adding a custom thread type in Asset Essentials (e.g. “Public Comment”).

- Import Request Comments
-
SeeClickFix will fetch comments from the Asset Essentials work order threads and will import those intended for public consumption.

The public filter would typically be accomplished via a custom work order thread type (e.g. “Public Comment”).

- Send Attachments
- Images attached to a SeeClickFix request will be sent to the work order as file attachments.
- Import Attachments
- SeeClickFix will fetch attachments from the Asset Essentials incident, and will only import those not marked private.
