All constituent communication is logged as conversations. Conversations are created when a constituent sends an email or uses SMS (text message), but a conversation may need to be manually created in the case of phone calls or walk-ins.
Instructions
- Click New and then Conversation
- Type in the details of the conversation
- Add any attachments
Note: Select the desired file in File Explorer and click Open. The file size limit for an attachment is 20 MB. - Search for and select the Constituent
Note: If the constituent is not in the system, click Add New Constituent.
- Select the appropriate Channel
- To continue an existing conversation, click Continue under the relevant conversation
- Click Continue Conversation
- Click Continue Conversation
- To create a new conversation, add a Summary
- Click Start New Conversation
- Click Start New Conversation
