Members can be imported in bulk by a SeeClickFix 311 CRM (SCF) admin. The file must be a .CSV with the following columns:
name | role | handle | timezone | locale |
Each column name must be in lowercase letters and follow these detailed instructions for each item. Once the CSV is ready the SCF admin can go to the organization settings page and import the CSV file.
- email: This is the address for the member user.
- name: Is the public display name for the member user
-
role: Must be one of four options (with all lowercase letters):
- internal personnel
- manager
- owner
- requester
- handle: This is the internal name that can be used to "tag" other users in an internal comment. This allows users to easily ask a question or loop in another member of the team on a request. This must only include lower-case letters, numbers, and underscores. It is also limited to 16 characters.
-
timezone: This is the appropriate time zone for the user. Available time zones can be viewed on the user edit page. The drop-down displays "(GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)", the value needed is just the name part, "Eastern Time (US & Canada)". Use the following for the CSV in the time zone column. This must match exactly:
- Eastern Time (US & Canada)
- Indiana (East)
- Central Time (US & Canada)
- Mountain Time (US & Canada)
- Arizona
- Pacific Time (US & Canada)
- Alaska
- Hawaii
- locale: This is the language preference of the member user. For United States and Canadian customers, this is “en."
