Anonymous Reporting
If a request is submitted by a user and the user selects the option to report anonymously, or if the request is submitted via the New Request Form and the box indicating “Hide display name and report anonymously” is left checked, then the display name will be shown as “An Anonymous SeeClickFix User”. Any requests reported anonymously will be associated with a registered account, which can only be viewed by the anonymous reporter. When an anonymous request is exported, the associated email is anonymous@seeclickfix.com.
An Owner of an organization can choose whether or not to disable anonymous reporting.
Guest Reporting
If a request is submitted without an email address, then the display name for the reporter will show as “<Organization Name>Neighbor”. This is a guest reporter who has not registered an account with SeeClickFix. These requests can come in through the self-service Guest reporting option or the New Request Form when a caller does not provide an email address.
If the request was reported via a call taker using the "New" Request page and the caller provided an email address, SeeClickFix will send them an email notification inviting them to create an account.
An Owner of an organization can choose whether or not to enable guest reporting.
