This article will detail how to delete an account registered with SeeClickFix. The resident will need to go through the steps, as the organization cannot deactivate the account for them.
Before they delete their account, please consider the following:
- Your display name does not have to be personally-identifying and can be edited so your identity remains anonymous. We will never post your email address on a public site.
- You may update/change any of the following by accessing your Account Preferences:
- Display name (You may opt to create a display name that is non-personally identifying such as ‘Concerned Resident’ or ‘Helpful Neighbor’)
- Password
- Avatar (a public-facing image associated with your account)
- Home location (not a physical address; should be a town and/or state/province, etc.)
- Time zone
- Language
- Links to your social media accounts on Twitter and/or Facebook

Deleting your account is irreversible. You will have to create a new account in order to use SeeClickFix in the future.

Instructions
- Sign in to SeeClickFix
- Click the profile icon in the top right corner and select Preferences
- Scroll down and click the Delete Account button
Note: If this option is unavailable to you please contact Support. - Confirm the deletion request via the SeeClickFix Account Deletion Request email sent to the email address associated with the account
