In the case that a citizen wishes to better understand what content they own when reporting an issue on SeeClickFix, this guide can be used to help that citizen understand SeeClickFix policy.
SeeClickFix is often a channel of communication between citizens and government or other local authorities responsible for fixing public space issues. If you submit an issue directly to one of these entities the email address you enter when you register on SeeClickFix can and may be transmitted to the local government(s) or authorities responsible for handling those issues at that issue’s location. Your email address may be used as contact information for those issues. In this regard, you should consider the email address you use to be one that you are using to communicate directly with the local government or authority about the issue.
All information, data, text, software, photographs, graphics, messages, tags, or other materials (“Content”), whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, are the sole responsibility of the person from whom such Content originated. This means that you, and not SeeClickFix, are entirely responsible for all Content that you upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available via the service.
