We are excited to announce the launch of updated product names, logos, and headers within our user interfaces as part of the CivicPlus® Solution Rebranding initiative. While the functionality you rely on remains unchanged, we are in the process of updating screenshots and other resources on our Help Centers to reflect the new branding. Create a Resident Account

In the case that a public user needs instructions on how to create an account, you can use the content in this guide to assist them. Residents can create an account through our website or mobile app. Want to give the residents self-help resources? Give them a link to the public Help Center.

 

 

Important Notes  

  • Please be aware that SeeClickFix is a public platform where content can’t be deleted/edited to ensure all requests are taken into consideration. In order to create a productive environment, we want our users to be safe, respectful, and responsible. Please review our Terms of Use before you report an issue.

  • SeeClickFix updated the user registration process to be integrated with the CivicPlus Single Sign-On to provide:

    • Ability to register/log in using social accounts (Apple, Google, Facebook, Microsoft)

    • Two-factor authentication
    • Improved password security requirements
    • Ease of use for citizens to navigate between CivicPlus products

 

Instructions

 

Web Browser

  1. Navigate to the SeeClickFix website.
  2. In the bottom left-hand corner, select Resident Sign Up.

  3. Create a CivicPlus account.
    Account Creation Page.
    • Email address: Add the email address of the resident
    • First Name: Enter the resident's first name
    • Last Name: Enter the resident's last name
    • Phone Number: Add a phone number for the resident
    • Password: Create a password
    • Confirm Password: Re-enter the password just created
  4. Click Create Account.

  5. Enter the One Time Password (OTP) to confirm the email, then select Verify.Verify Email.
  6. Complete your Registration.

    • Email: Enter the email the resident wants to use to receive notifications
    • Display Name: Enter a name for the public to see
  7. Click Register.

  8. Set your home or work location.

    1. Nearest intersection to your home or work: Enter the address of the nearest intersection of either the resident's home or office.
    2. Click Set Your Location.
  9. The user will need to confirm their email.

 

Mobile App

  1. Download SeeClickFix or your city’s branded app.
  2. Open SCF and visit the tab Profile.
  3. Select Register.
  4. Complete the Sign-Up form.
  5. The user will need to confirm their email.
