Some geographies overlap, and issues that need to be routed to one organization end up in the hands of the incorrect organization. Use the following steps to transfer a Request from one organization to another.
Alternatively, you can also close the request that is in the incorrect organization, and submit a new request to the correct organization.
Instructions
- If the issue was reported to a service category in Organization A, they will need to recategorize the request to the "Post to neighbors" category:
- Navigate to the Requests tab.
- Check the request.
- Click Recategorize.
- From the drop-down menu select Post to Neighbors.
- Click Update.
- Navigate to the Requests tab.
- This will cause the request to become uncategorized so it will be available for Organization B to access and recategorize:
- On the Requests tab select Post to Neighbors under Categories on the filter menu.
- Check the request and click Recategorize.
- From the drop-down menu select the appropriate category.
- Click Update.
- On the Requests tab select Post to Neighbors under Categories on the filter menu.
