Subscriptions keep members in the loop. When a member of an organization interacts with a request or work order, they are added as a subscriber and will receive email updates when a comment or a status change is made to a request or work order.
The following subscription options are available:
- Manually Subscribe to Receive Updates on a Request
- Add Members to be Automatic Subscribers on Request Categories
- Turn On/Off Subscriptions
Subscribing to a Request Automatically
Members also become subscribers automatically whenever any of the following actions are taken on a request or work order if they aren't already subscribed.
The actions taken on a Request that will result in an automatic subscription are:
- Creating a Request
- Recategorizing
- Changing the due date
- Changing the priority
- Adding public comment
- Adding internal comment
- Changing the status
- Merging duplicate requests (subscribed to unarchived requests)
- Assignment
- Mentioned by another member using the @ symbol
On work orders these actions include:
- Creating a Work Order
- Adding a comment
- Making modifications
- Adding photo
- Adding used resource
- Changing status
- Changing due
- Mentioned by another member using the @ symbol
- Subscription to an existing request subscribes members to child work orders
