SeeClickFix 311 CRM customers utilizing an SMS (text) channel in Conversations are now required to provide additional information so that CivicPlus can register the phone number. To prevent spam, phone providers in the U.S. are now required to have all phone numbers registered. Registration requires customers to provide business information and a point of contact. This is known as “U.S. A2P 10DLC registration,” which is required by all major U.S. telecommunications carriers.
Submit Registration
In order to register the organization’s account and phone number for use with SMS texting, please submit the following information to Support:

Contact Information (must be someone with the title/position of Director, General Manager, Vice President, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, General Counsel, or Other)

The registration process for new accounts can take up to 3 weeks once the registration is submitted. Any issues with the information provided during registration can increase this time, so please make every effort to provide accurate information.
It is recommended to submit this information 4 to 6 weeks prior to your organization going live with SMS texting on SeeClickFix Conversations.
